WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
You are invited to our Women’s Bible Study on
Philippians: Christ, The Source of Joy and Strength
from 10-12 in the Parlor every Thursday.
“The believers in Philippi are suffering from two of Christianity’s greatest adversaries: self-sufficiency and complacency. In response, Paul writes this letter from a Roman prison cell to provide a unique perspective on these enemies of the faith. Even as he faces horrific trials, he continues to encourage his brothers and sisters by declaring his imprisonment is reason for joy. This letter also includes Paul’s concerns for the church regarding spiritual and practical matters, such as unity and false teachers. He urges believers to maintain their spiritual commitment and integrity and to continue to grow in Christ.”
This Sunday night Bible study meets every other Sunday night at 7:00 pm at the home of Ted and Marti Wiedmann. This Bible study will start back up in the fall.
Contact the church office for the address and date.
We invite you to join us for our Wednesday Night Dinner, which includes a meal and Bible Studies for adult and High School and Jr. High School students. Our dinner begins at 5:45 pm, followed by Bible study from 6:30-7:30 pm. Our dinner is by donation and toddler child care is provided at no charge following the meal.
The goal of our men’s ministry, entitled Pillars, is to train men to be pillars in their church, home, and community. This group meets on the first Friday of every month at Brookside at 6:30 am.
