We here at Congregational Bible Church believe that giving is an act of worship and is integral to the life of the church. We believe the Bible teaches that giving should be regular, generous, proportionate, sacrificial, and joyful as believers participate in the ministry of the local church and follow the example shown by our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor 16:1-4, 2 Cor 8:1-9, Malachi 1:6-14).

Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. ~ 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
